After heading south to visit the English Gardens in Munich and the many auto museums, I headed to the small bavarian town Füssen. Füssen is a quaint town full of all the charm of a Disney movie, and provided a great base for cycling through the Alps.
Cycling through the Alps was breathtaking. During a day ride to Austria I came across crystal clear lakes and some of the most beautiful homes I’ve ever seen.
My time in Bavaria was mostly spent cycling, reading books in nature, eating, and drinking good beer…and there is nothing I’d change. After Bavaria I hopped on a train back to Cologne (Köln) to start planning my next leg..Eastern Europe.
